My daughter, the one looking down, is part of a winter color guard team. The theme of the show is a day in the Theresienstadt Ghetto during WWII. This is the opening position. More photos to come.

Chasing Ibis

Trying to show you my hometown. Starting with a little bit of where I live. Birds of all kinds like to make south Florida their home. These ibis love the ranch. They were roosting in the top of the tree. I used my car to get close, then stood on the roof to get a closer shot. CC welcome.

I am a Mom!

Trying out the manual mode, using the Understanding Exposure book as a reference. This is a very shady tree, and I wanted natural lighting. I only adjusted the sharpness in PSE4. CC Welcome.

This is my daughter climbing a tree in our yard. I like the casual look she has, not posing or looking directly at the camera.

Playing around with my macro lens some more. The toys are from my daughter's Playmobil dollhouse set. Some manual adjusting of focus, and aperture. Very little PP done, a little WB change in Canon Digital Photo Professional, Sharpening in PSE.
